Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name be glory, because of Your lovingkindness and truth -Psalm 115:1 (silent reflection) Prayer of the Bible Lord, the earth is yours and all its fullness, the world and all who dwell in it. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and glorify him at once. Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, so now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going you cannot come.’ -John 13:31-33 (Think deeply on these life-giving words of Jesus) Prayers for Ourselves and Others Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. -Colossians 4:2 (Time to bring before God our own needs and the needs of others) Closing Prayer The arms of God be around my shoulders, The touch of the Holy Spirit upon my head, The sign of Christ’s cross upon my forehead, The sound of the Holy Spirit in my ears, The fragrance of the Holy Spirit in my nostrils, The vision of heaven’s company in my eyes, The conversation of heaven’s company on my lips, The work of God’s church with my hands, The service of God and my neighbor in my feet, A home for God in my heart, and to God, the Father of all, I give my entire being.
